BeMyCompanion, a sole trader operating from Glasgow, G20 8ND, is committed to safeguarding adults at risk. This policy outlines our approach to ensuring the safety and welfare of all service users.
All companions are required to hold an enhanced DBS certificate. We monitor DBS expiry dates and require renewal before the certificate expires.
All companion applications require two professional references which are verified before approval.
GPS-verified check-in and check-out ensure companions attend sessions as booked. Post-session reports are reviewed for any safeguarding concerns.
Both clients and companions can report concerns through the app. All reports are reviewed by our admin team within 24 hours. For urgent safeguarding concerns, contact the local authority safeguarding team directly.
